About The Position

Georgia Military College Engineering department has an opening for a Part Time Vehicle Detailer. The vehicle detailer performs routine cleaning and preventive maintenance servicing of all vehicles, golf carts, buses, and equipment. Focuses on preparing fleet vehicles for daily use by ensuring they are fueled, cleaned, and checked for serviceability. Identifies and reports maintenance deficiencies and/or issues to Fleet Coordinator/Vehicle Scheduling and Motor Pool Maintenance Manager. Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working. Georgia Military College is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid Georgia drivers license
• 3 years driving experience
• Basic vehicle maintenance background
• Ability to troubleshoot and identify mechanical and safety related vehicle issues
• Ability to safely operate automobiles and larger vehicles

Nice To Haves

• Commercial Drivers License including P/S endorsements
• 5 years driving experience and operating buses or trucks
• 3 years basic vehicle servicing and mechanic background
