About The Position

We are seeking qualified applicants for our Diesel Mechanic role. The Diesel Mechanic must demonstrate initiative, be dependable, self‑motivated, and work effectively within a team environment. This is a Safety‑Sensitive position subject to random drug and alcohol screening.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Minimum 3 years diesel mechanic or heavy‑equipment experience preferred
• Ability to obtain or maintain CDL (Interstate or Intrastate), depending on site requirements
• Working knowledge of preventative maintenance standards
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel; ability to learn diagnostic software)
• Ability to manage maintenance schedules, documentation, and repair workflows

Nice To Haves

• Experience with hydraulics, cryogenic systems, and safety relief systems is a plus
• Ability to obtain brake and/or AC certification if required

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and respond to unplanned repair needs.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair diesel systems in compliance with manufacturer and site‑specific requirements.
• Work on a variety of plant vehicles and equipment, including diesel engines, pumping units, and site transport vehicles.
• Read, interpret, and maintain mechanical and wiring schematics.
• Maintain documentation for PMs, calibrations, repairs, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure adherence to equipment bulletins, alerts, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain and track spare parts inventory; purchase parts as needed.
• Follow all PPE requirements (safety glasses, gloves, respirators, etc.) according to job task and hazard exposure.
• Operate vehicles requiring CDL or Non‑CDL classification, depending on assignment.
