About The Position

The Micro Market and Vending Route Driver is responsible to deliver products to designated customers over an established delivery route, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M (Until the route is completed).

Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

Drives truck and delivers items such as chips, soft drinks, bottled water, fresh foods, snacks, candy, etc., to businesses.
Manages inventory of markets and vending machines.
Put away and rotate all stock; ensure each market and vending machine is fully faced before leaving.
Maintain cleaning kit and perform daily cleaning of equipment.
Troubleshoot and make minor equipment repairs as needed.
Remove spoiled fresh items at the end of each week or when expiration day will occur before the next visit.
Inform customers of new products or services.
Post marketing materials correctly and professionally in markets.
Listen to and resolve service complaints, reporting all back to the manager.
Load truck the day before delivery.
Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills.
Ability and willingness to make decisions.
Works independently and in a team environment.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Observes safety and security procedures.
Ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs while loading and unloading products from the truck.
Stand and walk for up to 6–8 hours per day.
Drive a company truck (non-CDL) safely.
Manage your assigned route and customer accounts efficiently.
Use company systems and processes to perform all job duties accurately and on time.
