Overview The Vendor Master Data Lead owns vendor master data governance from a procurement control perspective, ensuring vendors are eligible, correctly classified, and aligned with lifecycle and contract status. This role is critical to maintaining data integrity across systems and enabling Finance‑run P2P execution without introducing risk or duplication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in procurement operations, vendor management, or data governance
  • Experience working with ERP and procurement platforms
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and audit requirements
  • High attention to detail and process discipline
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

  • Must be willing to execute Corient’s Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, which require, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality, and non-disclosure.

Responsibilities

  • Define and enforce global vendor creation, change, and deactivation standards
  • Validate vendor eligibility prior to activation in Finance systems
  • Ensure vendor records align with Sirion CLM, risk tiering, and lifecycle status
  • Prevent duplicate, inactive, or non‑compliant vendors
  • Own decisions to activate, suspend, or exit vendors
  • Support global vendor data migration and clean‑up for acquisitions
  • Partner with Finance to resolve vendor data issues impacting payments
