About The Position

Galvanize is a global asset manager investing at the intersection of energy innovation, resilience, and intelligence. The firm deploys capital across seed, venture, growth, public equities, credit, and real estate, combining investment expertise with deep in-house capabilities in technology, policy, and markets. Galvanize is structured to rapidly identify and execute on investment opportunities created by the energy transition, across all sectors of the economy. Role The Investment Associate will be a core member of Galvanize’s Venture and Growth team. This role sits at the center of our effort to build scaled, category-defining companies that power the next era of energy and climate. Associates are active participants in theme development, investment execution, and portfolio value creation. The role offers exposure to the full investment lifecycle: from identifying structural shifts across electrification, intelligence, and industrial systems, to underwriting companies positioned to lead those shifts, to supporting management teams as they scale. Our Venture and Growth strategy provides capital to commercially validated businesses with strong leadership, differentiated technology, and clear pathways to profitability. We focus on companies ready to move from product-market fit to scaled deployment in the real economy. Key investment themes include: Electrification and the scaling of intelligence Data, digitization, and controls for the new economy Firm and flexible power generation Industrial efficiency and automation Sustainable inputs, resources, and supply chains System resilience We are long-term partners to our portfolio companies, working alongside founders and executives to accelerate commercialization, navigate policy and market complexity, and build durable category leadership. Requirements

Have a Bachelor’s degree
At least two years of hands-on experience in investing, management consulting, or working at an investment bank.

Responsibilities

New and Follow-On Investments– The Galvanize Investment Associate will play a central role in sourcing, evaluating, and executing new and follow-on investments across the portfolio. This includes proactive thematic research, market mapping, relationship development with founders and ecosystem partners, market analysis, financial modeling, and preparation of investment committee materials.
Portfolio Management– The Galvanize Investment Associate will support portfolio company reporting, performance tracking, and valuation analysis. The Associate will also work with portfolio companies on select strategic and operational initiatives.
Fund Administration– The Galvanize Investment Associate will assist with fund reporting, valuation support, data collection, and external events such as annual investor meetings.
