THE JOB Chateau Ste Michelle Amphitheatre is seeking a Venue Maintenance Staff Member to keep our venues show-ready and create an incredible fan experience. This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the venue's business goals and objectives. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO Participate in seasonal and daily venue set-up and tear-down procedures to ensure a safe and operational environment for guests and staff. Move bike rack, set up/break down security gates (including metal detectors) and lines, set up/break down of reserved chairs and lawn chairs, set up/break down tents, paint lines on the concert field, cable ramp installation over walkways, etc. Installation and maintenance of signage, furniture, waste receptacles, etc. Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned. Show CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts. Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

Requirements

Must be highly motivated and able to work independently and with a team.
Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting.
Technical ability and/or experience in venues preferred.
