About The Position
Kona Kai San Diego Resort is a boutique urban resort located on Shelter Island. With 170 guestrooms, Kona Kai Resort is home to Vessel Restaurant + Bar, SpaTerre, a marina and a private club, all located just minutes from downtown San Diego. We are excited to welcome a new Vessel Restaurant Server to our island-inspired resort. The Kona Kai San Diego is part of Noble House Hotels & Resorts: a curated collection of 20 unique hotels around the USA, distinctly unique in location and soul. Our best performers are independent thinkers, get creative and make decisions without too many corporate SOPs. They tend to be goal-oriented, financially sound, with a fair amount of grit. This role will report to: F&B Manager, Restaurant General Manager & Executive Chef As a Restaurant Server, your friendly, energetic and professional personality will be the morning/evening face of the restaurant. We are looking for a new team member to work AM/PM shifts, primarily in Vessel restaurant. In this position, you serve top-notch food and beverage with class and style adding to the wonderful start of a new day of the guest's dream vacation.
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience preferred in a high volume fast - paced restaurant and or pool.
- Food Handlers & RBS Certification is preferred, but not required
- Positive, upbeat personality works well on a team, desire to learn, and able to multi-task
- Hours will vary-- flexible schedule is required
- Attention to detail
- Minimum of 21 years old with the ability to serve alcoholic beverages
- 2+ years of experience is preferred
Nice To Haves
- Food Handlers & RBS Certification is preferred
- 2+ years of experience is preferred
