About The Position

VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team. Location: 1900 S Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90025 Salary: $20 - $28 per hour Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. In this position, you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. • Maintaining medical records.
• Preparing the surgical suite and surgical patients.
• Filling prescriptions.
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for boarded and hospitalized pets.
