Requirements
- Previous veterinary or animal care experience is a plus (but we’re happy to train the right person!)
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Comfort working with animals of all sizes and temperaments
- Adaptability, reliability, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed
- A positive attitude and genuine passion for animal care
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with patient care and procedures
- Help with patient intake — take vitals, gather histories, and prep pets for exams
- Safely and compassionately handle and restrain animals of all sizes
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization
- Support client education by helping explain treatment plans and follow-up care
- Assist with record keeping and light clerical tasks
