About The Position

Mount Laurel Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced, patient-focused Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team in a dynamic hospital setting. As a non-corporate, full-service veterinary facility with over 13 Primary Care doctors, we’re expanding our veterinary technician team to support our mission of delivering exceptional, compassionate veterinary care.

Requirements

1+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician
Excellent communication and client service skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-pressure environment
Strong teamwork and collaboration across departments
Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to professional growth
Ability to lift and carry animals or equipment weighing up to 50lbs
Capable of standing, walking, kneeling, and bending for extended periods
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
May be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on department needs

Nice To Haves

CVT, RVT, or LVT
Strong technical skills, including venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep, and patient handling

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to a variety of species under the supervision of veterinarians
Assist with diagnostics including radiography and ultrasound
Prepare and maintain surgical suites, equipment, and patients pre- and post-operatively
Accurately record patient data, monitor vitals, and administer medications
Collaborate with doctors and fellow technicians to deliver exceptional client and patient care
Educate pet owners on treatments, medications, and wellness recommendations
Uphold hospital standards and contribute to a positive, supportive culture
