Experienced Veterinary Technician Torrington, CT. North Torrington Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full-time veterinary technician to join our team! A positive, team player attitude, with excellent communication skills, is a must. The ideal candidate will be comfortable properly handling and restraining animals, understands the importance of client education, have knowledge of in-clinic laboratory equipment, is able to collect samples, feels comfortable working with other technicians and veterinarians, takes pride in a clean and organized animal hospital, and is a positive and supportive team player. Requirements

  • At least two years of experience working as a Veterinary Technician preferred
  • Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment
  • Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
  • Has experience with proper animal handling and restraint
  • Passion for working with animals and their owners
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
