About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal welfare and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to our patients. In this role, you will assist veterinarians with clinical procedures and ensure that our animal patients are provided with the best possible care in a supportive and caring environment.

Requirements

Associate degree in Veterinary Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) is preferred.
Proven experience in a clinical veterinary setting is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of animal handling, restraint techniques, and clinical procedures.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) is preferred.
Proven experience in a clinical veterinary setting is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
Collect samples, perform laboratory tests, and document results for diagnostic purposes.
Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions and assist in post-operative care.
Educate pet owners on animal health and wellness, including nutrition, exercise, and preventative care.
Maintain medical records using electronic systems and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date.
Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of examination rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment.
Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.
Provide compassionate care and handling of animals, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
