About The Position

Mueller Veterinary Services is Hiring a Veterinary Technician! Position Details Role: Certified Veterinary Technician Status: Full-time Salary: Negotiable and based on experience. Sign-on Bonus: $1000 after 90-days Schedule: Four-day workweeks. Requirements

Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of IL
Experienced performing safe and effective patient restraint for both small and/or large animals
Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
Organized and detail-oriented, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
An excellent communicator who builds trust with clients and teammates alike
Committed to learning and continuing to grow your technical and medical knowledge

Nice To Haves

Experience with large animals or mixed practice—but a strong small-animal background and a great attitude go a long way with us!

Responsibilities

Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
Experience in monitoring anesthesia
Emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement
Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work
Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions
