For proof, look no further than our strong working relationships and extraordinary workforce. We are seeking a Industrial Vibration Analyst for maintenance work in the Chesterfield, VA area. The ideal candidate will already have verifiable vibration tech experience on resume. Vibration Technician will perform electrical tests and vibration analysis using various portable electronic equipment, field balancing, laser alignments, installing and removal of electric motors and other electro-mechanical equipment, and interpret and ensure compliance with operating policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • verifiable vibration tech experience on resume
  • Certified Level 1 or 2 vibration analyst
  • Analyze and report on rotating equipment
  • Must be physically able to climb stairs and ladders
  • Must have current TWIC card
  • Experience installing and removing electric motors and other electro-mechanical equipment
  • Able to perform basic math functions
  • Able to understand, perform and retain various job related training, operational, and safety procedures
  • Four years of experience in specified skill
  • Written pre-employment qualification test
  • Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and rotating equipment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
  • Dismantles machines
  • Moves machinery and equipment
  • Assembles and installs equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, pumps, compressors, extruders, turbines and blowers
  • Aligns machines and equipment using reverse alignment method
  • Assembles machines and bolts, welds, rivets or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures
  • May operate engine lathe to grind, file and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications
  • May repair and lubricate machines and equipment
  • May be involved in the grouting activity for equipment base plates
