About The Position

Eaton’s Mobility business is currently seeking a Vice President, Aftermarket North America to join our team. This position is based at Eaton’s Southfield, MI and relocation within hiring country is offered. Position Overview: This position leads all aspects of the NA aftermarket business, driving both organic and inorganic growth strategies. This role is accountable for financial results, strategic execution, and operational performance, while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within a matrix organization. The role reports directly to the President, Commercial Vehicle and Aftermarket, Mobility Group NA and functionally to the Global Vice President of Aftermarket. The aftermarket sales will be approximately $500M in 2025 with a target to grow to $750M within 5 years. This role will lead a team of 5-7 direct reports and multiple functional reports. The total direct headcount will be around 45-60 employees and several additional employees through functional reporting. The organizational structure and headcount will naturally evolve for an optimum set-up over time. North American aftermarket business is the largest globally and will continually be the leader in shaping the global business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum fifteen (15) years’ professional experience
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in the automotive industry
  • Previous experience in the aftermarket business including commercial vehicles and/or other segments such as light vehicles, off-road and specialty vehicles for mining, construction, fueling etc.
  • Experience managing integrated teams in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute aftermarket business strategies aligned with North America goals.
  • Lead sales, product management, marketing, business development, engineering, and remanufacturing teams.
  • Drive new product introductions, expand customer and channel relationships, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Build business cases for partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions to achieve growth targets.
  • Oversee financial performance, reporting, and process improvements across supporting functions (finance, customer service, purchasing, quality, distribution).
  • Implement digital strategies for order management and online presence.
  • Ensure world-class customer service and 95% on-time delivery.
  • Aggressively pursue growth with e-mobility products for example - power protection, conversion and distribution products.
  • Represent the company at industry events and with media partners.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and models behaviors aligned to Eaton culture, ethics, accountability, performance, and intelligent risk-taking.
