Job Summary: The Vice President of Data & Analytics will lead Collette’s enterprise wide data, analytics, and business intelligence strategy, enabling data driven decision making entire organization. This role combines strategic leadership, modern data platform ownership, and business partnership to transform data into trusted, scalable, and actionable insights that drive growth, efficiency, and exceptional traveler experiences. This leader will own the end to end analytics ecosystem—from data architecture and governance to self service reporting and advanced analytics—while building and mentoring a high performing team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Data, Analytics, and Business Intelligence, including senior leadership roles.
  • Proven success leading enterprise analytics transformations in complex, multi‑system environments.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with executive leadership across the organization.
  • Deep expertise in modern data platforms and analytics tools (e.g., cloud data warehouses, analytics engineering, BI platforms).
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, ELT/ETL, and analytics best practices.
  • Hands‑on experience with KPI development, customer analytics, segmentation, and predictive modeling.
  • Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to influence across functions and levels without direct authority.
  • Proven people leader with experience managing distributed and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the enterprise data and analytics vision aligned with business strategy and executive priorities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the business leaders, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Embed data‑driven decision‑making across the organization and elevate analytics as a core business capability.
  • Own the design, implementation, and evolution of a modern, cloud‑based data platform.
  • Lead integration of data from ERP, CRM, web, and other operational systems into a centralized analytics environment.
  • Establish and enforce data governance, quality standards, master data management, and stewardship models.
  • Partner closely with Technology, Security, and Compliance to ensure platform reliability, privacy, and scalability.
  • Deliver executive‑level KPIs and dashboards across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Call Center, and Operations.
  • Build standardized semantic layers and self‑service analytics capabilities to accelerate insight generation and reduce manual reporting.
  • Champion data literacy initiatives that empower business users to confidently interpret and act on data.
  • Lead Predictive/AI analytics initiatives to improve customer engagement, conversion, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Translate operational and customer data into insights that drive efficiency, service quality, and profitability.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing analytics organization spanning data engineering, BI, and advanced analytics.
  • Drive hiring, development, and succession planning while fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Manage analytics vendors and budgets, ensuring strong ROI and alignment with enterprise standards.
