About The Position

The Vice President of Information Technology (VP, IT) will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of enCore Energy’s information technology function, ensuring technology platforms, systems, and cybersecurity capabilities effectively support the Company’s growth, operational execution, regulatory compliance, and long-term strategic objectives. This role is responsible for aligning IT strategy with business priorities across corporate, operational, and field environments, while establishing scalable, secure, and resilient systems suitable for a publicly traded, regulated uranium energy company. The VP, IT will serve as a trusted business partner to executive leadership and play a critical role in enabling operational excellence, data integrity, and risk management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including senior leadership responsibility.
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise IT strategy in an industrial, energy, mining, manufacturing, or similarly regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, infrastructure, enterprise applications, and IT governance.
  • Experience supporting publicly traded companies and SOX-compliant environments.
  • Experience in the energy, mining, or natural resources sector
  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed operations and field-based workforces.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with enCore Energy’s corporate strategy, growth plans, and operational needs.
  • Serve as a member of the senior leadership team, advising executives on technology investments, risks, and opportunities.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing IT organization, including internal staff and external service providers.
  • Oversee enterprise systems including ERP, financial systems, HRIS, operational technologies, data platforms, and collaboration tools.
  • Ensure IT infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and capable of supporting both corporate offices and remote field operations.
  • Lead system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and vendor management efforts to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Establish and maintain a robust cybersecurity and data protection program aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including public company controls (SOX), data privacy, and energy-sector requirements.
  • Oversee disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident response planning.
  • Manage operational budgets, cost control initiatives, and financial performance of all plant operations.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to track operational performance and drive accountability.
  • Support long-term planning and forecasting, including resource allocation and capital investment strategies.
  • Partner with operations, finance, HR, HSE, and other functional leaders to enable efficient, technology-driven processes.
  • Improve data governance, reporting, and analytics capabilities to support decision-making and operational performance.
  • Support automation and digital initiatives that enhance safety, productivity, and cost efficiency.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring disciplined capital allocation and strong return on investment.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and service-level agreements.
