Reporting to the CFO of Fidelity Investments Life Insurance Company, the VP of Investment Accounting will lead the accounting and reporting function for a diversified investment portfolio, including public and private fixed income securities and private funds. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with GAAP and statutory reporting requirements, developing accounting policies, and providing strategic guidance on investment accounting matters. The VP will oversee complex investment transactions, statutory filings, and internal controls, while serving as a key liaison with auditors and internal stakeholders. You will be a key member of the Fidelity Investments Life Insurance Company finance leadership team, partnering closely with the Head of Accounting, CFO, investment operations, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely investment accounting and reporting. This role offers an opportunity to shape the investment accounting function and contribute to strategic decision-making for the organization. The base salary range for this position is $130,000-285,000 USD per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
