About the position

Come work and grow with Bluestone Federal Credit Union! We are currently looking to fill a Vice President of Marketing role. As the VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for creating, managing, planning, directing, organizing and coordination of all aspects of the Credit Union Marketing and Business Development Plans. What we look for in a potential employee is someone that is creative, organized, can multi-task, has a willingness to learn and help and, most importantly, can build relationships with our Bluestone FCU members, partners, vendors and staff. This is a hands-on role. We are looking for someone with experience creating marketing campaigns from idea through to response analysis. You will be responsible for creating content, ideas for new promotions, managing and growing our community partner network, planning member events, developing financial education campaigns, and other unique projects, all while updating and maintaining Credit Union marketing materials, signage, etc. This candidate must be able to create and administer marketing plans including social media, email, in-branch, radio, TV, billboard and digital ads using Canva, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, YoDeck, Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, MailChimp and other platforms. They must also maintain websites in WordPress and all social accounts for the Credit Union and CUSO’s.

Responsibilities

  • Present, promote and sell Credit Union products and services to potential business partners
  • Develop and manage Credit Union marketing budget, strategies and initiatives
  • Create and administer specialized marketing plans
  • Manage all advertising agency and media relationships
  • Responsible for member and staff marketing related communications
  • Create, implement and manage the Credit Union business development plan and staff and business to business relationships
  • Coordinate all marketing research efforts
  • Responsible for implementing and upholding sales and service culture
  • Prepare periodic updates and reports for Board and management review
  • Responsible for leading efforts for major annual events
  • Ensure that all marketing and public relations materials comply with State, local and Federal rules and regulations
  • Create, review and update policies and procedures for the department
  • Direct marketing functions by communicating, scheduling, supervising and coaching direct reports to ensure efficient operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Previous marketing experience
  • Previous media, website, sales and customer service experience preferred
