About The Position

The Vice President of Operational Excellence (OE) leads the design and execution of the enterprise operating system, translating strategy into safe, reliable, and scalable performance. This role drives enterprise optimization, operating discipline, and continuous improvement to enable sustainable growth, margin improvement, and cross-business consistency-without adding bureaucracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, supply chain, or related technical field
  • 15+ years progressive operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or enterprise transformation experience
  • 7–10+ years leading large, cross-functional teams or enterprise initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Lead business unit initiatives that improve profitability, asset utilization, capital efficiency, and execution reliability
  • Eliminate structural inefficiencies, complexity, and organizational friction
  • Manage a prioritized portfolio of OE initiatives aligned to enterprise strategy
  • Assess operational readiness for acquisitions, integrations, capital investments, and major initiatives
  • Design scalable, repeatable operating models that enable growth with speed and discipline
  • Ensure leadership capacity and capabilities support growth objectives
  • Design and deploy fit-for-purpose operating systems, metrics, and performance management
  • Optimize end-to-end processes across operations, engineering, maintenance, procurement, and support functions
  • Integrate digital and systems investments to improve decision-making and frontline execution
  • Embed safety expectations into operating models, governance, and leadership routines
  • Enable enterprise standardization of best practices while respecting regulatory and operational differences
  • Strengthen learning, knowledge-sharing, and execution follow-through
  • Support enterprise performance management, operating rhythms, and governance
  • Partner on leadership development, succession, and organizational effectiveness
  • Lead change management for major enterprise initiatives to ensure adoption and sustained results
