About The Position

Clean Nutra is one of the fastest-growing health and wellness brands in the world, powering over 12,000+ daily Amazon orders, 200+ product SKUs, and a rapidly expanding presence across DTC, Amazon, and TikTok Shop. Our marketing team runs one of the most aggressive creative testing operations in the supplement space. We're not making ads that win awards we're making ads that win wallets. Every week, we produce and test dozens of video creatives across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, constantly iterating based on real performance data. We're looking for a Video Editor who understands both the art of viral content and the science of direct response. Someone who knows why a hook works, how to structure a story that sells, and can pump out high-quality variations without sacrificing scroll-stopping creativity. You'll be the engine behind our video creative output, working directly with our media buyers, creative strategists, and AI tools to produce video ads and organic content that drive real revenue. This isn't brand work. This is performance creative where every view, click, and conversion is tracked. You'll edit UGC-style ads, VSLs, product demos, testimonial compilations, TikTok/Reels content, and YouTube ads. You'll get constant feedback from the data - what's working, what's not - and iterate fast. If you've ever watched a video ad and thought "I know exactly why that hook crushed" or spent hours studying what makes content go viral, this is the role for you.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of video editing experience with a focus on paid social ads or performance marketing
  • Proven track record creating video content that has driven measurable results (conversions, ROAS, viral reach)
  • Deep understanding of direct response principles - you know what makes people click, watch, and buy
  • Expert-level proficiency in editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut)
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Ability to edit fast and iterate quickly - we test at high volume
  • Eye for trending formats, sounds, and styles across social platforms
  • Experience editing UGC content, testimonials, and founder/talking-head videos
  • Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual hierarchy
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the supplement, health, wellness, or DTC eCommerce space
  • Background creating VSLs (video sales letters) or long-form direct response content
  • Motion graphics and after effects skills
  • Experience with AI video tools (Runway, Kling, HeyGen, CapCut AI features, etc.)
  • You've spent time in the media buying seat or worked very closely with performance marketers
  • Personal content creation experience - you've built an audience or had videos go viral yourself
  • Copywriting instincts - you understand hooks and can write or improve on-screen text

Responsibilities

  • Edit high-converting video ads for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube campaigns
  • Produce multiple variations of winning concepts - new hooks, different CTAs, alternate pacing
  • Create UGC-style ads, VSLs, product explainers, and testimonial compilations
  • Edit short-form organic content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
  • Turn raw footage (UGC creators, founders, testimonials) into polished, scroll-stopping ads
  • Maintain fast turnaround times without sacrificing quality
  • Understand and apply direct response principles - hooks, pattern interrupts, proof, CTAs
  • Study competitors and top-performing ads across platforms to identify winning patterns
  • Collaborate with media buyers to understand what's working and why
  • Use performance data to inform creative decisions - not just gut instinct
  • A/B test creative elements systematically (hooks, music, pacing, text overlays)
  • Create native-feeling content that doesn't scream "ad"
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, sounds, formats, and editing styles
  • Understand the nuances between what works on TikTok vs. Reels vs. YouTube
  • Produce content that earns engagement organically, not just through paid distribution
  • Work closely with the media buying team on creative briefs and feedback loops
  • Coordinate with UGC creators and influencers on footage needs
  • Collaborate with our AI creative tools and team to integrate AI-generated assets into edits
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with clear communication on timelines
  • Maintain organized asset libraries and project files
