About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Videographer to bring our industrial tools, machinery, and expertise to life through compelling video and visual content. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, filming, and editing high-quality videos that support product education, marketing, and brand storytelling. Ideal candidates are both creatively driven and technically capable—comfortable working behind the camera and in a fast-paced environment—while collaborating closely with product experts, marketing teams, and on-screen talent to deliver content that is both informative and visually engaging.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Extensive knowledge and usage of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite including: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Media Encoder, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Extensive experience working with Mac computers and associated software.
  • General knowledge and safe operation of common hand tools, including cordless drill and driver, sockets, wrenches, hex keys, screwdriver, hammer, and sandpaper
  • Organized

Responsibilities

  • Planning: The videographer will schedule and organize jobs, perform product research, conceptualize visuals, make shot lists and storyboards, procure props and accessories, and collaborate with team members, product experts, and talent.
  • Filming: The videographer will be adept at camera rigging and operation, lighting, audio capture, prop and product styling, and will direct talent. Capture of on-the-spot “lifestyle” photography and short social media video will be performed as needed.
  • Editing: The videographer will work within brand style and templates. The will source royalty-free sound and visual stock elements as needed. They will present working edits through an online review and approval process. They will execute final video exports, write SEO-optimized descriptions and tagging, produce thumbnail art, and upload or deliver videos to all required platforms. They will perform a final archive of files.
  • Cleanup: Machines will be returned to stock, studio cleaned and reset, and any gear maintenance performed.
  • Provide feedback if errors in reference content is discovered.
  • Work with social media coordinator to assist with organizing social feed content.
  • Brainstorm advertisement concepts, how-to video ideas, and pre-visualize requested video concepts for production.
  • Assist Quality Control engineers and photographers when needed.
