About The Position

Description All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental, property, and corporate policies, practices, and procedures. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: · Assists selected guests promptly and courteously with transportation services on and off property · Drives safely, obeying all traffic laws. · Answers general questions about Caesars Virginia, Caesars Rewards, and promotes property benefits. · Inspects vehicle prior to occupancy, verifying that the vehicle is clean, well-stocked and in working order. · Routinely checks vehicle fluid levels and fuels vehicle as appropriate. · Effectively communicates with the Supervisor/Manager to report any mechanical difficulties and/or maintenance needs of the vehicle. · Presents a clean, neat, well-groomed appearance, wearing only the designated Transportation uniform while on the job. · Maintains written record of all trips, number of passengers, departure and arrival times, dispatcher’s name and destination. · Is flexible and receptive to change in work environment, procedure, and schedule as required by business demands. · Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner. · Builds memorable relationships with guests, assists guests with their luggage, and travel itinerary. · Encourages mutual respect, dignity, and integrity with all employees by setting positive examples at all times. · Demonstrates an upbeat and positive attitude and executes on all service behaviors in accordance with Caesars Virginia Southern Family Style Service standards. · Adhere to all policies and procedures of the Transportation and Casino Services Department. · Provide positive service standards including but not limited to courtesy, sincerity, and enthusiasm. · Answer phone calls, emails, and text messages to assist with host requests and guest needs. · Track flights to ensure chauffeurs are on location on time for airport pickups. · Monitor ride board constantly and dispatch chauffeurs on rides at the appropriate times. · Communicate via 2-way radios and/or cellular phones with chauffeurs. · Assist chauffeurs with guest and host requests while en route to or from the property. · Communicate with other departments such as VIP, Butlers, and Casino Marketing to ensure all pertinent information is shared with all to ensure a seamless transportation experience. · Other duties may include receiving emergency and non-emergency calls, monitoring driver logs, keeping records, and addressing guest escalations. · May be assigned to Security, Valet, Hotel, Facilities, or other departments as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: · The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to fulfill the obligations of this position. · High school diploma/GED is required. Ability to drive all types of vehicles is required. · One-year Taxi, Valet, or Shuttle driver experience preferred. · Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. · Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain a Virginia Lottery Gaming License. · Must have and maintain a valid Virginia or North Carolina Driver’s License and “clean” Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A, B, or C preferred. · A “clean” driving record is defined as: · No more than two (2) moving violations/points and/or chargeable accidents in the past 36 months on an individual’s driving record · No suspension or revocation of driving privileges; and · No major violations, such as DUI/DWI convictions, in the past 36 months. · Must have the ability to deal with a variety of people in a courteous and professional manner. · Must have basic knowledge of Danville, Greensboro, Raleigh/Durham, and the surrounding areas. · Must be personable and energetic. · Must present a well-groomed appearance. · Must perform duties with a sense of urgency. · Must have excellent day and night vision. · Knowledge and familiarity with area highways, airports, hotels and attractions required. · Ability to read and understand highway maps required. · Ability to drive and operate all types of passenger vehicles and light trucks required. · Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmissions required. · Ability to operate vehicles in a variety of extreme traffic and weather situations. · Ability to work independently.
