About The Position

Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center is one of New York City’s most celebrated attractions, offering panoramic skyline views and a refined, world-class guest experience. To support peak season operations, we’re seeking polished, hospitality-driven VIP Lounge Servers who bring exceptional etiquette, attentiveness, and professionalism to an elevated guest environment. As a VIP Lounge Server, you curate a personalized and seamless experience for our distinguished guests, ensuring comfort, exclusivity, and service excellence throughout their visit. This seasonal opportunity offers hands-on exposure to high-touch hospitality within a premier NYC destination, with potential consideration for future opportunities based on performance and business needs. Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
  • Comfort using computer systems and POS or lounge management tools
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–2+ years of customer service or related experience preferred
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
  • Professional appearance and adherence to company standards
  • Ability to lift/move up to 40–60 lbs. and operate equipment as needed
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, or sit for extended periods
  • Visual acuity for both close and distance tasks, including reading monitors and registers

Nice To Haves

  • Prior customer service or observation deck experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist VIP guests with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Serve beverages and provide storage for personal items
  • Share information about the Observation Deck and the Top of the Rock experience
  • Address and resolve guest inquiries or concerns, ensuring satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean, stocked, and well-organized lounge environment
  • Implement personalized service for repeat VIP guests to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Assist leadership with operational projects or special initiatives as needed
