Organization: Virtual Care Cohort 30 Job Summary: JOB SUMMARY Provides technological support keeping patients safe for a specified population that meets detailed criteria. Observe patients and communicate with unit staff to ensure our patients are safe. Uses monitors and phones and provides education on the V-Sitter process to the patient, family/friends and unit staff. . POSITION HOURS Three (3) 12-hour shifts 6:45 a.m. - 7:15 p.m. Rotating based on unit need. No specific workdays or days off can be guaranteed. We cannot accommodate school schedules, weekend-only requirements, etc. LOCATION This is a fully on-site position located at our Crystal Terrace building in Nashville TN. This role cannot accommodate remote work. Pay based on experience, starting at $17.55/hr. Five (5) or more years of telemetry experience preferred.

Requirements

  • Relevant Work Experience Experience Level: 1 year
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Five (5) or more years of telemetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assures that patients who require oversight of V-Sitting monitoring are accurately admitted to the monitoring software system.
  • Identifies and communicates safety concerns to the unit staff in the appropriate time frame per protocol.
  • Notifies the Patient Safety Partner runner if adjustments are needed to the equipment.
  • Serves as a resource to unit staff for camera placement, equipment management and troubleshooting of V-Sitting monitoring equipment.
