About The Position

The visiting student will contribute to the development of a POLARIS transportation model for the City of Versailles, France. The project involves building and calibrating an agent-based simulation to represent travel demand, network operations, and policy scenarios within the urban area. The student will work with real-world demographic, land use, and transportation data to support model development, validation, and scenario analysis. This experience will provide hands-on training in large-scale transportation modeling, data integration, and computational simulation methods. Education and Experience Requirements The entirety of the appointment must be conducted within the United States. Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins. Applicants must be: ‒ Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited institution ‒ Graduated from an accredited institution within the past 3 months; or ‒ Actively enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution
