About The Position

As a Visitor Experience Assistant, you will be working in our Wakehurst Visitor Centre within a friendly and motivated team, proactively providing our visitors with exceptional and genuine service ensuring they have a memorable experience on their visit to Wakehurst and Glow Wild. This role is part-time and fixed-term, specifically for the Christmas program, with a total of 130 hours available over a six-week period.

Requirements

• Experience working in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to achieve targets and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors at Wakehurst and Glow Wild.
• Work within a team to ensure a memorable visitor experience.
• Achieve targets and KPIs to maximize revenue for Kew.
• Work at least one weekend day per week.
• Assist during the Glow Wild event, which runs from 27th November 2025 to 3rd January 2026.
• Work regular evening shifts up to 10:30pm, including Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve/Day.
