Hey there! The Bellevue YMCA is looking for an enthusiastic Volunteer Volleyball Coach to help our young athletes learn the game, build confidence, and have a blast on the court. In this role, you’ll lead practices and games, teach volleyball fundamentals like serving, passing, and setting, and encourage teamwork and great sportsmanship. Most importantly, you’ll be a positive role model who helps kids grow both on and off the court.
This opportunity is perfect for someone who loves volleyball and wants to give back to the community.

Requirements

• Minimum Age: 18
• Basic knowledge of volleyball rules and techniques
• No formal coaching experience required, but a passion for teaching and mentoring youth is important
• Must pass a criminal background check and complete Child Abuse Prevention Training
• CPR and First Aid certification required (YMCA will provide if needed)
• Expect about 3–4 hours per week for practices and games.
