About The Position

Vice President, Cloud Solutions Role Overview The Vice President, Cloud Solutions leads TD SYNNEX’s Cloud strategy across the US. This role is accountable for driving revenue growth, margin performance, and market differentiation by expanding vendor partnerships, activating existing partners, developing scalable cloud solutions, and enabling routes to market through services, training, and go‑to‑market execution. The VP, Cloud Solutions owns full P&L responsibility for the Cloud business and provides strategic leadership across sales, vendor management, solution development, services, marketing, and technical teams. This leader shapes the long‑term cloud value proposition while responding to evolving industry, market, and channel trends.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15+ years of progressive, relevant professional experience, with a track record of leadership in complex cloud environments
  • 8–10 years of direct people leadership experience, including managing, developing, and performance‑managing managers and senior‑level leaders
  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a formal field of study in Business or a closely related discipline
  • Proven executive leadership experience owning full P&L responsibility for a cloud or technology business, including revenue, margin, forecasting, budgeting, and cost management
  • Demonstrated success defining and executing a cloud strategy across multiple routes to market, customer segments, and vendor ecosystems
  • Deep experience driving revenue growth and margin expansion through scalable cloud solutions, partner activation, and go‑to‑market execution
  • Strong background in cloud vendor management, including recruiting, negotiating, onboarding, and serving as executive sponsor for strategic cloud partners
  • Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and close a robust pipeline of cloud opportunities while maintaining senior‑level customer and vendor relationships
  • Experience leading cloud solution development, including the design, build, and launch of scalable offerings for channel partners
  • Proven leadership of cloud consulting and managed services businesses that drive customer adoption and value realization
  • Experience overseeing cloud training and enablement programs for partners, sellers, and customers
  • Track record of leading large, geographically distributed, multi‑disciplinary teams across sales, vendor management, services, solution development, marketing, and technical functions
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the Cloud strategy across multiple routes to market, customer segments, and vendor lines.
  • Develop and evolve a differentiated cloud value proposition that drives revenue growth, margin expansion, and brand recognition.
  • Continuously assess industry, market, and channel trends to inform strategy, offerings, and investment decisions.
  • Represent TD SYNNEX with key industry associations, thought leaders, panels, and influencers.
  • Own full P&L responsibility, including revenue, contribution margin, cash days, SG&A, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Drive profitable growth while maintaining an appropriate cost structure and margin profile.
  • Ensure strong operational rigor through performance management, metrics, and governance.
  • Grow existing cloud revenue through partner activation, solution consumption, and organic customer growth.
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage strategic cloud vendors, serving as executive sponsor through identification, negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Build, manage, and close a robust pipeline of cloud opportunities.
  • Maintain and deepen senior‑level relationships with vendors and customers to accelerate growth and resolve issues.
  • Lead cloud solution development teams to design, build, and launch scalable offerings for the channel.
  • Oversee cloud consulting and managed services to drive customer adoption and value realization.
  • Direct cloud training and education programs to enable partners, sellers, and customers.
  • Shape future cloud practices, including offerings, capabilities, and performance measurements.
  • Build, develop, and lead a high‑performing, geographically distributed leadership team spanning sales, vendor management, services, solution development, marketing, and technical functions.
  • Coach and develop leaders and employees through performance management, feedback, and development planning.
