The Vice President, IT Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) & Corporate Applications serves as the primary strategic technology partner and advisor for the Controller and FP&A functions within finance and accounting. While the position provides expertise in financial systems and processes, other corporate systems and technology administration and management including HR, T&E, workflow management for governance and compliance, and other critical areas will also fall under this positions scope and responsibilities. Reporting directly to the CIO, this role shapes, enables, and delivers the technology agenda to transform enterprise processes, leveraging automation, AI/GenAI, analytics, and modern, user-centric platforms to drive business value and efficiency. Strategic Planning & Partnership: Act as the trusted advisor to C-suite and senior leaders of enterprise functions. Co-own the development and execution of a 3–5 year digital roadmap aligned with overall enterprise goals and priorities. Develop the IT-Finance and EPM roadmap along with the office of the CFO and CIO with a focus on accuracy and timely closing of books, on consistency of financial reporting lead by insights, and enabling automation for overall productivity in the finance and accounting functions. Digital Transformation: Lead the modernization of core enterprise platforms. Drive adoption of AI/GenAI and automation to improve speed, accuracy, and decision-making across business processes. Drive initiatives across all Accounting, FP&A, and Tax processes. Master data initiatives to include chart of accounts, product hierarchy, business entities structuring, etc. Driver-based forecasting, dynamic reporting, and leveraging AI for predictive forecasting Automating financial reports including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, tax provision, HD, price-volume-mix, revenue forecasting, etc. Automating EBITDA walk through by seamlessly integrating data from multiple sources Building and automating product category P&L’s Managing team members in technical aspects related to writing calc scripts with allocation rules, webforms, report building, etc. Portfolio & Product Management: Serve as Product Owner for the enterprise function’s digital product portfolio. Prioritize initiatives based on return on investment (ROI), total cost of ownership (TCO), and business value. Data & Analytics Strategy: Collaborate with business teams to design and implement data solutions, advanced analytics, and reporting capabilities that enhance business insights and support strategic decision-making. Stakeholder & Change Management: Act as the escalation point for functional leaders into IT, ensuring alignment between business needs and IT delivery. Drive organizational change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new technology. Financial & Operational Management: Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, systems maintenance agreements, deploying the right balance of in-source vs. out-source models, while keeping a close eye on scope, timelines and budgets. Governance & Compliance: Ensure that enterprise solutions adhere to all relevant security, legal, and regulatory requirements (including SOX, GDPR, FDA, and cGMP).
