Scope of Position: The Vice President, Global Sourcing is a strategic leadership role responsible for building and leading a world-class supplier ecosystem that supports the company’s growth, innovation, and operational excellence. This role is responsible for approximately $400m spend annually. This role will oversee sourcing strategy for identified commodities and supplier development across the Americas and Europe regions and various product categories. The Vice President, Global Sourcing will also be responsible for leading and developing a globally distributed team of 18 employees directly and indirectly. This position reports to the SVP, Global Sourcing. This role is hybrid and is based in North Andover, MA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in global sourcing and supplier quality within manufacturing (water, HVAC, consumer goods, or industrial sectors preferred)
  • Proven experience leading annual cost savings initiatives through direct spend.
  • Experience establishing and implementing KPI’s across global organizations.
  • Deep expertise of global supply markets, quality systems (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.), and regulatory compliance
  • Proven track record of building strategic supplier relationships and driving operational improvements
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel globally up to 30%

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a global sourcing strategy aligned with corporate growth, sustainability, and innovation goals
  • Lead sourcing function for defined commodities while developing commodity team strategies for key spend areas.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Product Development, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to ensure supplier capabilities meet evolving business needs
  • Drive supplier segmentation, strategic partnerships, and long-term sourcing agreements to support scalability and resilience
  • Manage 3 direct reports and 18 indirect reports
  • Optimize total cost of ownership through strategic sourcing, value engineering, and supplier negotiations
  • Implement digital tools and analytics to enhance visibility, traceability, and performance across the supply base
  • Build and mentor a high-performing global team of sourcing professionals
  • Continuously develop and maintain a robust supplier risk management framework, including contingency planning and dual sourcing strategies
  • Monitor geopolitical, environmental, and market trends to proactively mitigate supply disruptions
