Summary: In this role, you will lead and influence senior healthcare executives, including CEOs, across multiple member networks by shaping differentiated, high-value content and experiences that drive engagement, growth, and retention. You will serve as a visible executive leader who brings credibility, perspective, and hands-on contribution, directly creating content and guiding dialogue that members cannot access elsewhere. You will oversee a portfolio of networks and collaborate across Vizient to scale impact nationally while maintaining strong executive relationships and a compelling value proposition for clients.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 10 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Prior experience as a health system executive, such as CEO, COO, or Chief Strategy Officer required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence peer-level executives with credibility and confidence.
  • Experience personally creating executive-level content and facilitating high-impact leadership discussions.
  • Proven ability to scale impact from a local or organizational level to a broader, national audience.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing small, high-performing teams.
  • Excellent executive presence, communication, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and influence senior healthcare executives, including CEOs, across multiple member networks to drive engagement, value, and retention.
  • Shape and personally contribute to differentiated executive-level content, programming, and thought leadership across assigned networks.
  • Oversee multiple member networks, including community-based independent hospitals and regional networks, representing approximately 60–100 organizations.
  • Drive network growth and retention through relevant content, strong executive engagement, and consistent value delivery.
  • Build and maintain trusted peer-level relationships with senior client executives to position Vizient as a strategic partner.
  • Scale locally developed insights and practices into high-impact national content and network experiences.
  • Lead and develop a small team, ensuring alignment to strategy, priorities, and execution expectations.
  • Partner across Vizient domains to align network strategy with broader organizational goals and offerings.
  • Represent Vizient at in-person network meetings and executive forums to strengthen relationships and visibility.
