About The Position

Allconnect is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Vice President of Engineering to lead a critical portion of our technology organization and help define the next chapter of our engineering strategy as we continue our transition to an AI-first engineering organization. This role sits at the intersection of technology strategy, AI-enabled development, and organizational leadership. As VP of Engineering, you will shape the long-term technical direction of the organization, embed AI capabilities into how we build and operate software, and design high-performing engineering organizations that fully leverage modern development paradigms. You will partner closely with senior business, product, and data leaders to ensure our platforms, systems, and engineering practices drive durable competitive advantage. The ideal candidate has experience guiding teams through major shifts in how software is developed and delivered, including the adoption of AI-assisted development workflows and modern engineering practices. This leader moves beyond reactive management and instead operates with proactive ownership, strategic clarity, and a strong ability to lead organizations through meaningful technological change.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, including significant leadership experience growing from engineering roles into management and executive leadership.
  • 7+ years leading engineering organizations, including experience managing Directors or senior engineering leaders, with responsibility for organizations of 40+ engineers.
  • Lead organizations through the transition to an AI-first software development lifecycle, embedding AI-assisted development, intelligent automation, and modern engineering tooling into how teams plan, build, test, and operate software.
  • Proven experience defining and executing long-term technical strategies that support business growth, platform scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Deep and broad understanding of modern technology ecosystems, including frontend, backend, data platforms, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong ability to design and evolve engineering organizations that support both immediate delivery and long-term innovation.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior business leaders to translate strategic priorities into scalable technical solutions.
  • A decisive and thoughtful leader who can evaluate trade-offs, guide complex technical decisions, and drive alignment across teams.
  • A track record of developing engineering leaders, mentoring high-potential talent, and building high-performing organizations.
