About The Position

The Arizona Humane Society is seeking a Chief Financial Officer & VP of Finance to serve as a key member of the executive leadership team to drive financial performance, technology strategy and risk management across the organization. The CFO leads our accounting, IT, and facilities, maintenance and warehouse teams to support operational efficiency and infrastructure reliability. If you have at least 7 years of experience in a financial leadership position, as well as strong knowledge or experience in non-profit accounting, we'd like to hear from you. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• At least seven years' experience in an accounting or financial management position required.
• Extensive knowledge of and proficiency with accounting principles, systems and procedures.
• Knowledgeable in non-profit accounting practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with staff and board members.
• Advanced Excel skills and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficiency with appropriate financial applications.
• Passion for providing great customer service and helping others in a highly collaborative environment.
• Detail oriented and able to balance multiple projects including construction project management.
• Knowledge of AI platforms to encourage use per company policy.
