We are seeking a Vice President of Technical Operations to lead the strategy, reliability, and scalability of Accertify’s global technology platform. As a trusted provider of fraud prevention and digital security solutions, Accertify powers mission-critical services for some of the world’s largest brands. This role is central to ensuring our infrastructure, operations, and technical teams deliver world-class performance, resilience, and customer trust.  The VP of Technical Operations will drive operational excellence, modernize the technology stack, and partner with product and engineering leadership to enable secure, scalable growth. You will define the long-term operational vision while ensuring flawless day-to-day execution across a highly available, 24/7/365 environment.  

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience); Master’s preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Technical Operations, Infrastructure, SRE, or related domains.
  • Proven experience managing large‑scale, highly available SaaS or mission‑critical systems.
  • Deep knowledge of Linux systems, Kubernetes orchestration, and distributed storage platforms.
  • Strong command of operational excellence, including monitoring/observability, incident management, change control, and capacity planning.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, PCI‑DSS, FedRAMP) and embedding security into operational practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large technical teams and influence cross‑functional partners.
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities and complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the technical operations strategy to support uptime, scalability, and performance for global SaaS environments.
  • Lead 24/7/365 hosting, infrastructure, and site reliability operations, ensuring high availability and operational resilience.
  • Modernize systems and processes to support growth objectives, cloud evolution, and next‑generation platform capabilities.
  • Establish KPIs and operational dashboards to drive visibility, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the architecture, reliability, and lifecycle management of Linux, Kubernetes, and distributed storage environments.
  • Lead capacity planning, systems optimization, and infrastructure scaling to support customer and transaction growth.
  • Ensure strong operational foundations across networking, storage, compute, and observability platforms.
  • Partner with Engineering, Security, and Product to ensure operational requirements are integrated into platform design and development.
  • Work closely with Information Security to embed secure‑by‑default operational practices and ensure audit readiness.
  • Serve as a key stakeholder in incident management, root‑cause analysis, and long‑term remediation planning.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry frameworks, including SOC 2, PCI‑DSS, and FedRAMP.
  • Drive operational governance, change management discipline, and high‑integrity release processes.
  • Champion best‑in‑class disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale high‑performing teams across infrastructure, hosting, SRE, and technical support.
  • Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Define organizational structure, roles, and talent needs to support future growth.
