The Veralto Enterprise System Office (VESO) leads the enterprise-wide deployment, evolution, and stewardship of VES. This role is the VP for Operational Excellence within VESO and a key member of the VESO L1 Team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years Operations or Engineering leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business
  • Experience as Plant Manager / Director of Operations or higher
  • Demonstrated ability to build a VES sustainability roadmap
  • Mastery of VES Fundamentals and strong practitioner-level Operational Excellence experience
  • Capability and desire to move into a senior Operations or General Management leadership role in the future

  • Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Technical discipline

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an active member of the VESO L1 Leadership Team, partnering with the SVP VES, VP’s for Innovation and Commercial, and the VESO/VESOU Manager to drive enterprise-wide VES maturity.
  • Operational Excellence leader deeply grounded in lean business systems—who brings the technical mastery, operations leadership experience, perspectives and credibility to steward, evolve, and scale the Veralto Enterprise System across a global, multi‑OpCo organization.
  • Lead and develop the VESO Operational Excellence Director.
  • Accelerate business results across OpCos by applying the VES Fundamentals & Operational Excellence tools including lean manufacturing, supply chain, and environmental & human safety (EHS) best practices.
  • Partner with OpCo and site leaders to build and execute VES roadmaps aligned with PD/CVD/KPI expectations and long-term sustainability.
  • Drive adoption of the VES Fundamentals & Operational Excellence across all OpCo’s, regions and functions.
  • Deliver VES training and coaching at the Gemba—role modeling VES culture, standards, and leader behaviors.
  • Act as a “bench strength” resource and sounding board for OpCo priorities
  • Evolve priority VES tools through the annual VESO strategy process.
  • Administer, develop and improve the Certified Practitioner process for all Fundamental and Operational Excellence tools.
  • Coach Leaders on application of VES tools.
  • Lead/enable annual VES Assessments and the resulting action plans, helping OpCos calibrate scope, complete assessments, and translate heatmap gaps into focused, executable improvement roadmaps.
  • Develop, package, and deploy VES training content (and improve it through feedback loops)
  • Prepare quarterly reports for VES office.
  • Facilitate identification of workflow barriers and waste, advising leaders on the right VES tools and approaches to eliminate them.
  • Serve as Process Tool Owner for designated VES tools—driving adoption, improvement, and capability building across a global network of VES Certified Practitioners
  • Lead the annual Operations, Supply Chain & EHS Conference, including content design and facilitation.
  • Protect VES intellectual property by reinforcing adherence to the IP Standard Work.
