About the position

The VP, Product Marketing will play a pivotal role in defining and executing go-to-market strategies for our detection, response, and managed services offerings focused on securing the supply chain. Our ideal candidate has led successful category or subcategory creation efforts, knows how to work with analysts and influencers to shape a market, and has launched multi-product portfolios. We need someone who can drive positioning, messaging, go-to-market planning, and cross-functional alignment with confidence and speed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine product positioning and messaging that uniquely differentiates SecurityScorecard’s supply chain detection and response and ratings solutions in the cybersecurity market.
  • Design and implement go-to-market strategies for new product launches and enhancements, ensuring cross-functional alignment and successful market penetration.
  • Conduct market research to gain a deep understanding of customer needs, supply chain risks, pain points, and the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with sales & enablement to develop effective sales tools, such as presentations, collateral, and training materials.
  • Build and manage relationships with key industry analysts to shape market perception and secure positive coverage.
  • Lead the creation of high-impact marketing content, such as whitepapers, blog posts, webinars, and case studies.
  • Partner with revenue marketing, business development, and sales to develop and implement demand generation programs.
  • Work closely with product management, engineering, sales, and other teams to ensure product marketing aligns with business goals.
  • Manage successful launches of new products and features, coordinating internal and external communications.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to expand market reach and customer base, domestically and internationally.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, cybersecurity, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years in product marketing, with a strong background in cybersecurity and detection and response (XDR/MDR/CDR), ideally focused on supply chain security.
  • Proven success in product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy development for cybersecurity solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills with 3+ years of experience leading and motivating teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the field of cybersecurity and supply chain protection.
