About The Position

About this role In the Aladdin Product Engineering, Private Markets department, we are seeking a Development Lead to lead our Software Engineering team based in London and Belgrade! The team works on evolving our Private Market’s Reporting Solutions specifically focusing on reporting data layer. Fully integrated into our Aladdin Engineering Team, you will be exposed to both the technical and functional layers of our most innovative products, while acquiring outstanding abilities in the fast-growing Alternative Investments in general. You will be part of an international and diverse environment, with a strong drive for technical innovation. About you: You have a strong understanding of data, distributed systems and Software Development Lifecycle in an agile organization. As a Development Manager your role will involve mentoring and guiding junior talent to deliver impactful outcomes for the business. You will also be hands on and as a Senior Developer your role consists of analysing, refining, implementing, and validating new features as well as maintaining and supporting the existing ecosystem of Reporting tools including our data warehouse. You will collaborate with other development and platform teams, business partners and QA team members in delivering high quality software. Requirements

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related software engineering background
• Experience in team and people management in an engineering environment
• Deep expertise in MS SQL Server, including stored procedures, performance tuning, and data modelling
• Familiarity with Snowflake and data pipeline concepts (ETL, batch vs. streaming)
• Experience with C#, with .Net Framework, .Net Core (.Net)
• Experience with Cloud based services, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive approach with ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient English, both written and spoken

Nice To Haves

• Curiosity about the functional part of the product, base knowledge about the Finance industry will be highly appreciated

Responsibilities

• Leading the team and building new features, from their conception up to their deployment in production.
• Handling aspects of a SaaS product, including production monitoring and incident resolution on the cloud platform.
• Contributing to the improvement of the team methodologies: continuous integration/continuous delivery, automated testing, standard processes' definition.
• Collaborating with different groups, full of hardworking, forward-thinking people with an outstanding innovation spirit.
