We are searching for a detail-oriented Wall Panel Sawyer to join our Vertical Dimensions team at Vantage Elevation. Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience operating a panel saw, beam saw, CNC router, or similar production woodworking/fabrication equipment
  • Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16" and perform basic shop math
  • Experience reading and following shop drawings and written work instructions
  • Demonstrated safe use of stationary machinery and hand tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, repeatable parts
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle full-size sheets and parts (up to ~75 lbs with assistance)
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned shift and overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HOLZMA or similar HOMAG/HPP series beam saws and edgebanders
  • Background in architectural millwork, casework, or elevator interiors
  • Familiarity with panel optimization/nesting software and label-based workflows
  • Basic mechanical aptitude for minor troubleshooting and adjustments

Responsibilities

  • Setting up, operating, and monitoring the HOLZMA HPP130 beam saw and edgebander to produce panels to specified dimensions and finish standards
  • Reading and interpreting shop drawings, cut lists, labels, and production travelers
  • Optimizing panel yields while meeting schedule priorities
  • Performing in-process quality checks for size, squareness, and edge quality
  • Using hand and power tools for basic secondary operations
  • Performing daily machine checks and light maintenance; reporting issues promptly
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Accurately labeling, stacking, and staging completed parts for downstream machining and assembly
  • Following all company safety policies, including PPE requirements and lockout/tagout procedures
