About The Position

The Attendant Wardrobe is responsible for assisting team members with exchanging uniforms, collecting and inspecting the quality of the uniforms, and providing great customer service that reaches the companies standards.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred
  • One (1) year experience in the wardrobe uniform field preferred
  • Experience in a hotel/casino environment preferred
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate license through the New York State Gaming Commission
  • Ability to remain organized in a pressure situation
  • Ability to input and access information into a computer
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with staff
  • Ability to diplomatically attend to complaints
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals and other related documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other Team Members or guests.
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to compute complex mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Sorts, counts, stores and issues all uniform according to established procedures.
  • Collects and inspects uniforms as they are received.
  • Assists in repairing uniform.
  • Reports damages and loss uniform to supervisor.
  • Maintains uniform and equipment in proper state of cleanliness and repair.
  • Assists team members in exchanging uniforms.
  • Inspects all uniforms quality.
  • Collects all dry cleaned/washed uniforms for distribution.
  • Prepares dirty uniforms for laundry pick up.
  • Maintains records of uniform issues and discard register.
  • Provides great customer service to all guests
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
  • Demonstrates consistent regard and dedication to guests, vendors, colleagues and the Company by being engaged, interested and productive
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of our marketplace; actively and collaboratively assists in building the best practices necessary for the Company’s success
