About The Position

Description Essential Job Functions: All team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. It is the expectation that every team member, front or back of house, should proactively seek out opportunities to greet guests and their fellow team members daily. EGE policy states teams members should: acknowledge guests and fellow team members within 10 feet; initiate friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet; keep your head up, look around (“head on a swivel”); look for opportunities to greet guests and others; please remember that when you are on the floor, you are “on stage”. Team members will participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions. Responsible for fitting, ordering, receiving and recording of all uniforms. Compile inventory of all items relating to wardrobe. Responsible for the maintenance and care of all wardrobe items. Maintain a clean and organized work space, including wardrobe storage. Greet employees and give them their appropriate uniform. Usage of badging machine. Work cooperatively with BVGC in processing badges. Process new hires, issue lockers, create nametags, clear terminated employees. Assist with all other elements of the operation as needed. Must be able to meet and adhere to departmental and company policies. Works a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays. Works a reasonable amount of overtime when required. Keep accurate counts of production and record on log sheets. Must be able to operate conveyor belt and computerized name badge machine Responsibilities Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands: Must be able to work in an environment that is humid, hot or cold. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds from the ground to above head level. Must be able to lift, carry and hang uniforms constantly from one rack to another. Must be able to push and pull heavy racks uniforms. Must be able to reach over the head to either hang a uniform or to remove a uniform. Must be able to climb or step continually and quickly maneuver in small work areas. Respond to visual and aural cues. . Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and calmly handle stressful situations Must be able to work inside and continuously maneuver around office area and throughout the casino property. Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist, lift, stoop, reach and work at a desk when performing administrative functions. Must be able to work in areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.

Requirements

  • Ability to get along well and work as a team member.
  • Must demonstrate exceptional organizational and inventory control skills.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Able and willing to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have strong organizational, analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice To Haves

  • Six months prior wardrobe experience preferred.
  • Preferred bilingual in Spanish.
