About The Position

The Warehouse Associate Lead is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse. This includes managing inventory, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, completing the closing checklists and supporting various logistical tasks. This role involves leading the warehouse team with packouts of product, managing inventory accuracy, managing inbound deliveries, maintaining warehouse organization, and handling product shipments and deliveries. In addition, this role is responsible for ensuring a clean and safe working environment. The role is critical to supporting daily warehouse operations and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills with the ability to work with a sense of urgency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of inventory counts and usage.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, order preparation, and shipping.
  • Experience with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and take direction from managers.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move products up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Physical ability to operate equipment and machinery such as pallet jack, hand trucks, cardboard bailer, and forklift (upon training and certification)
  • Comfort with working in a warehouse setting, including exposure to various environmental conditions (temperature, noise, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates to achieve operational goals and ensure efficient workflows.
  • Train, mentor, and provide guidance to new and existing team members, ensuring high levels of productivity and accuracy.
  • Monitor and support all functions of the warehouse, including but not limited to, inventory audits, receiving, inspecting, and storing products, preparing orders for shipment and closing checklist.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements such as OSHA, local fire code, FDA, DEA, and Pharmacy board.
  • Collaborate with warehouse leadership to ensure inventory stock is sufficient for forecasted orders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve overall operations.
  • Ensuring the warehouse is clean and organized daily by managing trash bins, bailing discarded cardboard, organizing stock and ensuring workspaces are free of hazards.
  • Lead by example in all areas including the code of conduct, safety and cleanliness of the warehouse, reliability and productivity.
  • Willingness to perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Work a schedule to close the day from 12:00pm to 8:00pm daily but flexibility to change as needed.
