Material handling in a heavy manufacturing environment. Responsible for various duties which could include receiving, shipping, parts box assembly and after-market shipping. Essential Functions: Report inventory discrepancies. Exercise safe working habits while operating machines. Keep machine and work areas clean and free of safety hazards. Regular attendance and other duties as assigned. Receiving: Verify count, condition, and identification of materials. Receive per company procedures. Report and notify appropriate personnel for all non-standard issues or events. Gather nonconforming parts, completes nonconforming tag and moves to NCM. Deliver MRO items. Shipping: Band, shrink-wrap and stage units for shipment, and load staged units onto truck. Transport units from paint to shipping area. Empty scrap hopper as needed. Follow shipping and packaging work instructions. After Market: Follow sales order by dates to ensure aftermarket shipments. Run work orders as required. Deliver shipments to the UPS building daily. Follow aftermarket work instructions. Parts Box Assembly: Build parts boxes according to work order and parts box guide. Follow parts box work instructions. Warehouse Picker: Stock all lines following daily build schedule. Use work orders to pick parts. Communicate with floor supervisor and materials groups to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Education and Training High School Diploma or GED required Minimum Qualifications 1+ years of experience in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment. Experience utilizing material handling equipment. Be self-motivated, have strong initiative and strong communication skills. Computer skills required. Ability to work hours outside regular schedule and overtime as needed.
