About The Position

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for perform ing various warehouse activities including organizing stock, maintaining inventory levels, processing , packing and preparing packages for shipment. Performing material handling activities which may include uncrating containers and crates and moving parts and materials to the correct location in the warehouse.

Requirements

• High school Diploma is .
• Proven work experience in a warehouse setting or similar environment.
• Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks and other necessary warehouse equipment
• Ability to competently and safely operate a forklift
• Good working knowledge of warehouse data systems
• Solid communication skills
• Strong Inventory skills
• Above average written and oral communication skills
• Ability to plan and multi-task
• Detailed oriented
• Ability to work in a team or independently as needed
• Physical stamina and dexterity for the work
• Ability to lift up to 4 0 lbs. unassisted.
• Ability to plan workload, in conjunction with Manager/Supervisor with flexibility to adjust plans according to customer requirements assembly and quality problems.

Responsibilities

• Process, pack and prepare orders for shipment accurately
• Perform material handling activities such as receiving and appropriately, packing, unpacking sorting and storing incoming shipments, materials and parts
• Perform a variety of activities such as filling warehouse orders, checking, weighing an counting orders
• Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment.
• Complete all shipping and receiving documents.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
• Assist with the execution of physical inventory counts and perform location auditing and reporting.
• Communicate with Manager/Supervisor to confirm details such as purchase order numbers.
• Follow all warehouse procedures and safety protocol
• Perform other duties as assigned
