Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 to 2 years or more in working in a fast-paced environment preferred
- 0 to 1 year in Carpentry, Manufacturing Environment preferred
- Ability to comprehend basic math
- Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs
- Ability to operate power tools in a safe manner
- Ability to follow inspecting process
- Able to work at a steady, fast pace
- Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities
- Load material on and off skids, pallets, and stands
- Identifies, examines, accepts, rejects and disposes of material used in construction and repair of pallets
- Uses basic processes of inspection/examination procedures for material
- Operate tools and equipment in performance of work assignments
- Prepare labels as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
