Requirements

High school diploma or GED is preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.
Ability to solve problems and apply good judgement.
Track record of punctuality and reliability
Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable State and Federal laws.
Excellent verbal/nonverbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Excellent customer service skills, including an ability to proactively address customer issues and concerns and ability to forge strong working relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

This position will assist the company with all transport-related duties. The driver’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to dropping off and picking up staff, delivering and collecting various packages, and delivering items to construction sites in a timely fashion.
Safely transport company staff as well as various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
Assist with the loading and offloading of products, materials, and equipment.
Adjust travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
Promptly inform the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
Maintain company vehicle - clean and properly maintain by regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance. Notify manager of potential vehicle problems.
Report any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.
Apply excellent customer service when interacting with other individuals.
