Warehouse/Delivery Driver, Day Shift (M-F, 4am start time)

Job Description: Victory Wine Group was established in 2015 as an innovative solution for wineries and distillers in Texas. In January 2023, Victory Wine Group became Maverick Beverage Company of Texas and in 2025 we became Johnson Brothers Maverick of Texas. As an importer and distributor of fine wines and craft spirits based in Texas, we represent a high-quality, diversified collection of wines and spirits from around the world, many of which are family-owned and operated. This position has primary responsibility for unloading line haul/shuttle trucks and loading delivery vehicles. This position is also responsible for delivering product directly to the customer when we are short drivers. The work environment is fast paced and very physical which will require you to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently. This position is full time Monday- Friday.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Previous delivery driving experience.
- Previous forklift and pallet jack experience.
- Heavy repetitive lifting is involved, must be able to lift up to 65 lbs. repeatedly.
- Good knowledge of the surrounding area.
- Self-motivated, work independently and self-managed to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- High School diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and utilize manual and power equipment.
- Loading and unloading of product in an efficient and safe manner.
- Check product and packaging for quality purposes prior to shipping.
- Reviews orders for shipment to ensure accuracy.
- Loading/unloading truck.
- Timely delivery with numerous stops.
- Delivering product into stores using a hand-truck.
- Other warehouse duties and activities as assigned.
