Warehouse Distribution Specialist
About The Position
JOB SUMMARY: The Distribution Specialist is responsible for accurately counting and picking products being distributed to customers. This job is located at our North facility at 4950 NE 29th, Des Moines, Iowa, 50317. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions: Assists in set up of new distribution lines as required Counts and/ or picks products per customer invoice or pick ticket. Responsible for placing the appropriate memo in each box and pushing each box through the tape machine Responsible for placing the corresponding shelf labels for peggable products in the box with the product when picked. Shortages/overages are kept track of as they occur. Requirements
- Ability to accurately count a variety of products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. repetitively
- Ability to work within established time and quality control goals for this area
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Ability to learn and master new tasks quickly
- Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with coworkers, managers, and customers
Responsibilities
