Hourly Rate: $17.51 per hour Position Summary: The Forklift Driver – Distribution Center is responsible for safe and effective forklift operation.
Requirements
- This position requires the passing of a drug screen.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-3 months of related experience and/or training.
- Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making and communications skills
- Superior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and consensus
- Must pass JJ Keller Forklift certification test with 80% or higher.
- Self-motivated; resourceful, creative; high integrity; problem solver; looks to resolve issues; positive can-do approach; and ability to build effective working relationships.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of a Forklift Driver.
- Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Operates forklift to load and unload product onto trailers and trucks
- Stacks items onto pallets of various heights
- Receives and distributes products using a forklift
- Assists the production department
- Requires forklift operation for up to 8 hours during scheduled shift
- Maintain forklift safety standards set by Goodwill.
- Maintains receiving and delivery logs with integrity and accuracy.
