About The Position

The Warehouse Forklift Operator is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations through the safe and efficient operation of sit-down forklifts and other material-handling equipment. This role plays a critical part in loading, unloading, storing, and moving materials, including bonded import and export cargo. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented warehouse environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of relevant forklift operating experience
Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
Willingness and ability to learn regulatory guidelines related to import and export cargo handling
Ability to pass a criminal background check in compliance with CBP and TSA regulations
Strong attendance and reliability

Nice To Haves

Forklift Operator Certification preferred

Responsibilities

Operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, transport, and stack materials within the warehouse
Safely maneuver equipment in narrow aisles, tight spaces, and congested work areas while following all safety procedures
Load and offload trailers and containers
Handle bonded import and export cargo and maintain required documentation
Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents
Report damaged items, discrepancies, or safety concerns to management
Maintain accurate inventory records using handheld scanners and the WMS system
Perform routine forklift inspections and report mechanical or safety issues
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including housekeeping duties
Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned
Work overtime and travel to different local warehouse locations when business needs require
